Andrew Scott-Moncrieff MD, FRCPC - Co-course Director

 

Dr. Andrew Scott-Moncrieff is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Ottawa. Dr. Scott-Moncrieff is a member of the multidisciplinary team at the Women’s Breast Health Centre and practices both Breast and Body Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital Civic, General and Riverside Campuses.

Specialty: Breast and body imaging

Clinical Interests: Breast MRI, breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, body CT and ultrasound

Residency: University of British Columbia

Fellowship: Breast and women’s imaging, Northwestern University, Chicago, IL

Zaid Jibri MBCHb, MRCSEd, FRCR - Co-Course Director

Dr. Zaid Jibri is an Associate Professor at the University of Ottawa and a musculoskeletal radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the director of musculoskeletal radiology fellowship program. His clinical and academic interests include sports medicine, patellofemoral joint disorders, ankle imaging, and spondyloarthritis. He is actively involved in multimodality imaging research projects within the department of radiology and in collaboration with researchers from the Divisions of rheumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Ottawa.

Dr. Jibri is a member of the International Skeletal Society (ISS).

Clinical Interests: Imaging in sports medicine; patellofemoral joint disorders; ankle imaging; spondyloarthritis.

Akshat Gotra MD MSc FRCPC - Co-course Director

Dr. Akshat Gotra is an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa and an interventional radiologist in the Department of Medical Imaging at The Ottawa Hospital. He is the interventional radiology residency program director at the University of Ottawa. His clinical and academic interests include dialysis interventions, advanced embolization procedures, peripheral vascular disease and endovascular aneurysm repair.

Dr. Gotra is a member of the Canadian Association for Interventional Radiology (CAIR) and the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR).

Clinical Interests: Dialysis interventions, advanced embolization procedures, peripheral vascular disease, endovascular aneurysm repair.
