9th Annual Ottawa Radiology Review Course Feb 23-March 1, 2019

Course Overview

This course will provide a week-long broad spectrum review of radiological sub-specialties for radiologists and residents in preparation for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada licensing exam in Diagnostic Radiology. The course will include lectures (some case-based) and comprehensive reviews in:

  • Chest
  • Cardiac
  • Breast
  • GI, GU
  • Women's Imaging
  • Emergency Radiology
  • MSK
  • Pediatrics
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Neuroradiology
  • Interventional Radiology

As part of the course fees, all participants will receive an electronic link to PDF files of all course presentations. This link will be available for one month after the end of the course. Files are for the use of course participants only and should not be reproduced or shared without prior permission.

Course fees also include a Welcome Reception and all breaks. Lunches are on own and the responsibility of the participants.

 

We will also be running mock exams: OSCES. Hotseats and Orals.

The OSCE exams will take place at the beginning of the course (Sat Feb 23th). The Hotseats will take place Monday through Wednesday evenings with a French hotseat on Monday Evening. Oral Exams will be taking place on Friday March 1st

** If you sign up for an OSCE, you must attend the answer session which will be offered the morning of Sunday, Feb. 25th. If you do not sign up for an OSCE, you may not attend the answer session.

Target Audience

This course is intended as a general review and preparatory course for the Royal College Exam in Diagnostic Radiology. The intended audience is radiology residents and practicing radiologists interested in a general review.

The mock exams are intended for PGY-5's or those taking the RCPSC Exam in 2019. Those taking the exam in 2019 have priority.
